Search by company name - picking one generates one combined WS-001 PDF for every active Height Gauge they have under a qualifying calibration procedure.
Search by company name - picking one generates their Billing Sheet PDF, prefilled with their contact and billing information.
Combines their Billing Sheet, Gauge List, and WS-001 worksheets into one PDF.
Leave both blank for the full list of this customer's active gages.
Blank field-work paper forms - print a stack to carry into the field, no customer or instrument needed.
No blank templates are available right now.
Search by Gage ID, then you'll land straight on its "New Calibration" form.
This customer has no gages on file yet.

No batches yet.
Enter the PO number covering this batch - it's filled in automatically on every gage you add, and can still be changed per gage afterward.
Check off the gages below, then Add Selected - the customer/PO fill in automatically. Search, filter by due date, or sort any column to find them faster.

This model has no calibration blocks set up yet.
Resolution and Uncertainty set here become this gage's own defaults - every new certification for it pulls them from here automatically.
Auto-filled from the model - edit here only if THIS gage needs different values.
Tolerance for an Optical Comparator is set per-axis on this model's own Linear Measurement Tolerance section, not per gage - edit it from the Model Catalog.
Checked lenses seed straight onto this gage's next calibration's Lens table - uncheck one it doesn't actually have, or add a custom label for anything not listed above.
Which of these this gage normally gets on its certificate - editable per gage here, and per certificate on the Calibration page itself.

Downloads a zip straight from the server - nothing is saved here, it just builds the file and hands it to your browser. Your real login secrets (the .env file) are never included in any of these.
Upload a backup zip downloaded above, and pick which part of it to restore (make sure the zip was downloaded with a matching scope - e.g. pick "Data only" here if the zip itself was downloaded as "Data only"). Restored data is merged in: any row already in the database is left exactly as it is - only rows that are missing get added back. Nothing is ever overwritten or deleted. Super Admin only.

Due date is calculated automatically from the calibration date and frequency, and updates live as you edit them - but you can also type a date directly to override it, or click "Recalculate" to reset it to the calculated value (still needs Save Changes afterward). Uploading a certificate below does not change it - that's a separate, deliberate edit (or use a certificate's "Previous" badge to make it current).
You can edit these fields, but since you're not an approver/reviewer/admin, clicking "Save Changes" submits a change request for review instead of saving directly.

Every new calibration of this model starts with its own Uncertainty section already set to this - still freely editable per calibration from there.
Overall Measurement Uncertainty is [] uin multiplied by a factor of (k=) at % confidence interval. L=Length in inches.
A gage of this model uses its own Procedure if one's set on the gage itself, otherwise this default.
You can't edit models directly.
Saving here submits your edit for a super admin's approval - it won't change until they approve it.

Calibration blocks/points can only be edited by an approver or admin.
Editing an existing block or point submits it for a super admin's approval - it won't change until they approve it. Adding or deleting a point still happens right away; Generate Points only stages new points until you click Save Block.
Every gage of this model starts each new calibration with exactly these lenses already added - none are auto-added beyond this list.
| Lens | Mode | Tol. Min | Tol. Max | Tol. % |
|---|
Every gage of this model starts each new calibration with this X/Y DRO tolerance already filled in - still editable per calibration from there. Fixed is one flat +/- window; Formula grows the tolerance with the length measured (e.g. a "Stage Accuracy" spec like "+/- 0.004mm + [(L/20) x .001]").
Every gage of this model starts each new calibration with these X/Y nominal points already added - saves re-generating or re-typing the same typical points every time. Still fully editable per calibration from there.
Tolerance Minimum/Maximum are this block's own (a model's different blocks often need different tolerances) - every point's Min/Max, generated or manual, is computed from its Nominal using these: Min = Nominal + Tolerance Minimum, Max = Nominal + Tolerance Maximum. Points Resolution rounds every point's Nominal/Min/Max and decides how many decimal places they show.
Auto-fill settings (optional) - fill in Start/End/Increment to define each new point's Nominal, then click Generate Points (Tolerance Minimum/Maximum above need to be filled in too, even if not saved yet). Generating ADDS to the bottom of the points list below - it won't touch points already there. It's staged like any other edit here: nothing is sent to the server until you click Save Block, and Clear Edits undoes it.
Drag a row by its handle (โ ฟ) to reorder points - the new order is saved automatically, no need to click Save. Editing a value below is saved together with the rest of the block by the Save Block button above.
| Nominal | Min | Max | Uncertainty |

No points yet - add one manually below, or use Generate Points above.
Only a super admin can add a procedure, edit its title/description, or upload its reference PDF.
Type a title or calibration procedure number above to find a procedure.

Procedure is pulled from this gage's Model - edit it from the Model Catalog to change it. Unit and Resolution are set per measurement block below.
Due Date is set automatically once this certificate is approved - it can't be typed in. To change it afterward, create a revision.
When checked, this certificate's Frequency and Due Date print as "โ" - nothing is guessed at until the customer confirms an interval.
Updated - this also updated the gage's own frequency.
"Save & New" saves these details and continues right here - Equipment Used, Customer Equipment, Measurement Points, and Approvals appear below immediately, all on this one page. Nothing is saved until you click it, and it stays disabled until a Calibration Date is picked. "Clear & Close" discards whatever's typed here (nothing is saved) and returns to this gage's own page.
At least one NEP Calibration Equipment must be selected.
| Equipment ID | Description | Due Date (at use) | NIST Trace # |

Not tied to a system record - entered by hand each time, e.g. a customer's own caliper.
| ID | Description | Due Date |

No customer equipment entered yet.
Every measurement row needs at least one reading (As Found or As Left) filled in.
No measurement blocks yet - "Prefill Blocks from Model" copies them from this gage's model (each with its own Resolution/Tolerance, adjustable below), or "+ Add Block" starts a blank one. Clicking "Prefill Blocks from Model" again later resets any matching block back to the model's current settings and points, rather than adding more.
Points added one at a time below, not part of any block above - to add a point to a specific block instead, use that block's own "+ Add Point" form in its card above.

No ungrouped points.
Checking "Possible Limited Use" immediately marks this calibration Limited Use on the certificate - an approver can still change this in Approval below, up until it's approved.
Only available once a measurement point has failed.
Required before signing - check "Possible Failure" or "Possible Limited Use" above, since a measurement point failed.
Required before signing - fill in Cert Editor, Calibration Date, Temperature, and Humidity (Details step above).
Required before signing - attach at least one NEP Calibration Equipment (Equipment step above).
Can't sign - one or more NEP or customer equipment attached (Equipment step above) is expired. Replace it or detach it first.
Required before signing - every measurement row needs at least one reading (As Found or As Left) filled in (Measurements step above).
Awaiting the technician's signature.
Only available when this calibration has a failed point.
Can't approve - one or more NEP or customer equipment attached (Equipment step above) is expired. Replace it or detach it first, or submit a due-date change request.
Submitting signs this calibration (same as "Technician Signature" above) and adds it to the Certs Approval queue.
Once approved, this certificate can no longer be edited - "Create Revision" starts a new draft, pre-filled from this one, saved under this certificate number with a "-#" suffix.
Procedure is pulled from this gage's Model - edit it from the Model Catalog to change it.
The statement text is set from this gage's Model - go to the Model Catalog to change it.
At least one NEP Calibration Equipment must be selected.

Tolerance (Mode / Min / Max / Tol. %) is locked to the gage/model spec by default. Click Override to adjust it for this calibration only, or Restore Mfg Spec to re-pull it from the gage's Lens Checklist (or Model's Lens Template if the gage has no override). Size, As Found and As Left are always editable - enter how far off the standard's size the reading was, and the calculated actual reading (Size + Deviation) shows just below each one.
Choose which angle stops to include on this certificate.
In Degrees Minutes or Degrees Minutes Seconds, As Found/As Left are a fixed ยฐ/'/" mask - just type the digits, they fill in left to right. Type "-" to make a reading negative.

Fixed is one flat +/- window; Formula grows the tolerance with the length measured, e.g. "Within +/- 0.004mm + [(L/20) x .001]". Use Convert if the spec is in a different unit than you're entering.
Auto-fill (optional) - fill in Start/End/Increment and click Generate Points to add a full range of nominals at once (uses the X Axis tolerance above). Adds to the bottom of the list below - won't touch points already there.
Reset Points to Model adds any nominals from the Model's X D.R.O. defaults that aren't here yet, and removes any nominal here that isn't in the Model's list - matching rows keep their As Found/As Left readings.

Both of these are printed on the certificate.
Checking "Possible Limited Use" immediately marks this calibration Limited Use on the certificate - an approver can still change this in Approval below, up until it's approved.
Only available once a lens has failed.
Required before signing - check "Possible Failure" or "Possible Limited Use" above, since a lens failed tolerance.
Required before signing - fill in Temperature and Humidity (above).
Awaiting the assigned technician's signature.
Only available when this calibration has a failed lens.
Submitting signs this calibration (same as "Technician Sign-off" above) and adds it to the Certs Approval queue.
Once approved, this certificate can no longer be edited - "Create Revision" starts a new draft, pre-filled from this one.
Copied from the model when prefilled. After changing Tolerance Minimum/Maximum or Points Resolution, click Recalculate Points to save them and apply the new numbers to every point already below (Min = Nominal + Tolerance Minimum, Max = Nominal + Tolerance Maximum, both rounded to Points Resolution).
Auto-fill (optional) - fill in Start/End/Increment and click Generate Points to add a full range of new points here (Tolerance Minimum/Maximum need to be saved first). Adds to the bottom of the list below - won't touch points already there.
